Eurasia Consort: Silk Road Journey to the East

Eurasia Consort presents music found on the Silk Road in East Asia. During the 6th century Buddhist music filled the region between India and China, while Japan became a cul-de-sac of music and instruments. The new ensembles include kugo, hokyo, sho and shakuhachi, instruments available in the Shosoin, Japan, the world's oldest museum.
